Crackers with rye flour and seeds

300 g rye flour type 1
80 g olive oil
130 g water
5 g salt
q.s. various seeds (sesame, chia, ...)


  1. Mix the rye flour, salt and various seeds in a large bowl.
  2. Add the oil and mix all the ingredients with a spatula, then add the water and knead.
  3. Pour the dough onto the work surface and knead until smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin (approx. 3 mm).
  5. Cut the crackers with a knife to the desired size.
  6. Place the crackers on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  7. Brush the crackers with olive oil and sprinkle the surface with coarse salt and seeds.
  8. Bake in a static oven preheated to 180 °C (160 °C convection oven) for about 15-20 minutes.
  9. Leave to cool on a wire rack.
