200 | g | lukewarm milk |

Preparation
- To prepare the sausages in a blanket, place the flour, sourdough starter, sugar, milk, and egg into the bowl of a stand mixer. Knead until a smooth dough is obtained, then add the salt and vegetable oil and continue kneading until the dough is well developed, meaning it has come away from the sides and bottom of the bowl and wrapped itself around the dough hook. Shape the dough into a ball, place it back in the bowl, and let rise, covered, in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour 45 minutes).
- Once the dough has doubled in volume, divide it into 8 equal pieces. Roll the first piece into a rope about 50 cm long and flatten it slightly with your fingers. Wrap the strip of dough around a sausage, slightly overlapping at each turn so the sausage is fully covered without gaps. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and repeat with the remaining dough and sausages. Cover the tray with a clean kitchen towel and let rest for 15 minutes while preheating the oven to 190 °C (static).
- Beat the egg with a fork in a small bowl and brush the sausages in a blanket. Sprinkle the surface with sesame seeds and bake at 190 °C for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, accompanied by sauces of your choice.
